I am a Japanese woman in 40s, married, no kids.
I’ve been working hard over the last decades and then started thinking about my rest of life. I could have 40 more years but will retire when I got 50? or 60? Then, what should I do? Where should I live? What’s happiness for us at that age?
I read some books and reached that we want to live in country by growing plants, etc. so that we can work even after retired and have healthy self-sufficient life.
In addition, as we respect traditional arts that should be kept for long, we didn’t want to live in an ordinary “build & scrap” house but in a classical house.
In this site, we’d like to share about our journey to develop our country life in Japan as well as conserving the methods and skills of Japanese treasure.
