Obon holiday in the middle of August, we obtained a week off this year and were looking forward to staying in our country house.
After the rainy season was over in late July, it had been sunny and very hot. The weeds grew vigorously, and all of my plants, flowers and trees wanted water.
I enjoyed working hard on the first day. However, from that evening, the clouds became suspicious, and it began to rain at night, and after that it continued to rain for 10 days, during which time even a typhoon came.

I didn’t really care about water level of the river as I have been living in a city apartment, but in countryside, nature is very close and the water in the river along our garden was very high although it usually flows underground.

Typhoon winds made sunflowers and other high height plants slanted.
I cut the flowers and put them in a vase. Do they look like Van Gogh Sunflower?
