物件探し⑫ 古民家モデルハウス訪問 / House Hunting 12: Visiting Kominka model house

家づくり勉強会への参加に加えて、坂井建築事務所さんが住居および事務所として使っておられる古民家モデルハウスへもお邪魔させて頂きました。
その家は、他の場所から移築して建てられた古民家で、ホームページではすごくよく見えたので、楽しみにしていました。

当日は、坂井さんと奥様が出迎えて下さりました。
家は2階建てで小屋裏もありました。居住空間は２階部分にあり、その下の１階に事務所と庭がある造りでした。入口に繋がる門も２階にあり、そこから橋を渡って入口へ行きます。橋は庭の上に架けられており、とても凝った造りです。
入口の横は畳の２部屋で縁側があって庭に面しており、リビング＆ダイニングは反対側にありました。高台にあるので、リビング＆ダイニングからの眺めは素晴らしいものでした。
庭は１階部分にあるので、２階部分の客間の縁側から見下ろす感じになります。庭の全体を俯瞰することができ、これもいいなと思いました。
家に使われている梁や柱、建具などはもちろん素晴らしく、大きな薪ストーブがリビングの真ん中にあり、冬には部屋全体を十分暖めることができるようになっていました。
洗面所の床材は竹で出来ていて、夏は涼し気で、これもすごく気に入りました。
和風の庭も坂井さんがご自身で造られたとのことで、縁側に座って、柔らかい日差しを浴びながら庭を見おろすのは、とても快適で落ち着きました。
これこそ私が理想とする暮らしだなぁと思いました。とても贅沢な生活です。
お二人には大変親切にもてなして頂いて、すごく感謝するとともに、私たちも頑張って家を探そう！と改めて思いました。

In addition to joining the seminar about house, we also visited the Kominka model house that was used for the office and residence of Sakai Architectural firm.
The house was removed from other place and reconstructed by him. It looked very nice in their HP, so we were very looking forward to it.

That day, Sakai-san and his wife welcomed us. The house had two floors and the attic. Main residential area was in the second floor, and below that floor, there were working space and garden. We came from the gate, which is in the second floor level, and went through the bridge over the garden to the entrance. (Elaborated construction!)
Next to the entrance, there were two Tatami rooms facing the garden with sunny porch, and the living&dining room on the other side. The window view from the living&dining room was amazing.
The garden was in the ground floor, so we saw the garden from above. That was also nice. We can see the whole picture of it.
The beams, columns, and fixtures used in the house were of course good, and the wood-burning stove was in the center of the house to make the whole house warm enough in winter.
I also liked the texture of the floor in the bathroom, which was made of bamboo. This gives us cool feeling especially in summer.
The Japanese garden was also created by himself. It was very relaxing when we sat on the porch, having soft sunlight and looking down the garden.

I felt this was exactly what I want to do. Very rich life.
We really appreciated their kindness and were motivated to keep looking for our ideal one!
