We planted a two-year old sapling of double-flowered Cherry Blossoms (Yae Sakura) between the Cherry blossoms (Sakura) and the weeping Japanese apricot (Shidare Ume) as I like it very much.
Usually, Japanese apricot (Ume) blooms in February to March, Cherry Blossoms (Sakura) in early April, and double flowered Cherry blossoms (Yae Sakura) in late April. So, we can enjoy flowers from February to late April.
The sapling of double-flowered Cherry Blossoms (Yae Sakura) is still very tiny, but we are expecting it to grow big!
