内庭での出来事 / Findings at the inner garden

庭造りに励んでいる外庭とは別に、あまり手入れできていませんが、家の縁側の前にも純和風の庭があります。
６月のある日、ここでササユリが咲きました！ほんの１週間ほどでしたが、とても可憐で感動です。
また、植わっているツツジの根元をよく見ると… 蛙が茎にできた穴に入って寝ていました。かわいい！

Apart from the outer garden where we have been working hard, the house originally has a typical Japanese-style garden in front of the porch, although it is not well maintained… One day in June, we found a lily called Sasayuri blooming! It was only for a week, but it was so elegant and pretty.
Also, if you look closely at the roots of the planted azaleas… the frog was sleeping in a hole in the stem. Lovely!
